Kenny S, a former G2, and legendary CS player is reportedly joining OG’s Valorant team
Kenny “kennyS” Schrub, one of the most decorated snipers in Counter-Strike history, is now testing for VALORANT and will join OG’s squad according to a report by neL, a French reporter for 1pv.fr.
He is a well-known player of the most popular co-op games, CS: GO. His popularity, on the other hand, has somewhat dropped in recent years as a result of an uninspiring performance. KennyS was responsible for the gun nerf in his heyday. The decrease in scoping and movement speeds of the AWP was due to KennyS.
Since March 2021, after G2 moved him to the bench, he has been inactive. He still owes the organization and was even listed as a substitute for ESL Pro League Season 15 in recent months. Since his demotion, kennyS has concentrated on Twitch streaming and has streamed 25 hours of VALORANT in the past 30 days, according to SullyGnome’s statistics website.
I'm told for days that kennyS is trialing on VALORANT and that he will join the VALORANT OG team.
Good for him, even tho I would prefer to see him in CS obviously.

Last year, reports and rumors suggesting that kennyS was testing with the Alliance, a European squad, surfaced but ultimately went nowhere. In October 2021, the French player told Dexerto that if he didn’t find room in CS:GO, he’d look for it somewhere else.
After the interview with Dexerto, kennyS went on to compete in the VALORANT charity event, BLAST Spike Nations. The AWPer was joined by his former teammate Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt, and he put up an amazing display in his first official VALORANT map, dropping a 40-bomb with Jett on Icebox.
The VALORANT team from OG has only four members. The organization has an all-French lineup, but its results haven’t been up to par since February 2021 when it began competing.
KennyS won a number of prestigious competitions in CS:GO, including the DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca Major in November 2015 while playing for Envy. He also played for VeryGames, Titan, LDLC, and G2 among other notable organizations.
