During the FNCS finals, the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event “Fracture” was officially revealed, coming December 3. Normally, Epic Games doesn’t really reveal such information so early in the game, but this time is different. This live event, as stated in the official tweet, is the final event for Fortnite Chapter 3.

Epic Games has not disclosed any other information regarding the event or Chapter 4 other than a teaser image. It is known, however, that the new chapter will include the release of a new map. Because Fortnite’s finale events draw a lot of attention, people who want to participate should arrive early to avoid any problems logging in. Epic Games usually does a good job with all of these sorts of live events, so perhaps this will follow suit.

The game has done a good job of offering regular updates to keep players busy; in recent weeks, fans have seen content based on Star Wars, Bungie, Marvel, as well as Black Adam, among other things, to keep them entertained.

As reported earlier, it appears that Chapter 3 Season 4 would end earlier than expected (December 2), making way for the live event to take place the following day, on December 3. After the event concludes and downtime starts specifically at 4 PM ET/1 PM PT, which is expected to last at least 12 hours, with the possibility of lasting much longer, players will enter the next major phase of the game’s plot. A new island awaits, as it does with each new chapter.
