The problems were most severe for Cloudflare users of its own DNS Lookup Service. Multiple Verge staff members discovered that they were unable to access any websites during the outage as a result of using Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 DNS service. FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange, announced that its platform and other sites would be difficult to access for many individuals, claiming that the exchange was now in “post-only” mode.
