The Official Twitter Account for Nike’s Air Jordan revealed what appears to be a future collaboration between the shoe brand and the Naruto anime series
The Hidden Leaf Village has seen a lot of fashion crossover partnerships in the past, including with Hypebeast, Uniqlo, and other companies. With actor Michael B. Jordan already getting into the game with his own Naruto collection in the past, Nike appears to be suggesting a wild combination that would bring about the debut of Naruto Air Jordans in the footsteps, which will undoubtedly attract both sneakerheads and anime fans’ attention.

While no additional information has been released about Nike’s involvement with Naruto, receiving Air Jordan’s dressed as warriors from the Ninja world is quite incredible because anime fans will generally have to customize Nike footwear to get that anime look. The official announcement of this collaboration was made also in conjunction with the New Orleans Pelicans Power Forward Zion Williamson. He tweeted:
“Excited to share this story with the world. The @Jumpman23 Zion 1 x Naruto Collection is inspired by our parallel paths of overcoming adversity. Stay tuned! #BelieveIt”
With the likes of Dragon Ball Z, Transformers, and a slew of other popular anime franchises releasing shoes based on their most well-known characters, plenty of shows have had the chance to acquire distinctive sneakers inspired by them. With the Naruto franchise still going strong, no indication that it will come to a halt anytime soon, with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations currently airing.
