All Secret Nodes Locations for Extra Nezarec Chest in Root of Nightmares raid

In the Root of Nightmares raid, there are three hidden node rooms where players can find an additional chest. These chests can only be spawned once a week, and provide a guaranteed red border (Deepsight) weapon as a reward. To spawn the additional chest after defeating Nezarec, players must find and connect the correct nodes in each of the three rooms. How to Spawn the Nezarec’s Extra Chest

For players looking to find the hidden node rooms and spawn an additional chest in the Root of Nightmares raid, it’s important to know where to start. Just before the first drop down, veer off to the left and look for flowers with three glowing orbs/nodes on the wall. These orbs/nodes will be either dark or light, similar to the main mechanics of the raid.

To access the secret chest, players need to find three hidden rooms throughout the raid that contain both dark and light orbs. The orbs in each room must be connected in the correct order, based on the pattern displayed on the flowers before the first drop down. For example, if the pattern is dark-light-dark, players must connect the orbs in the first room with the dark orb, the second room with the light orb, and the third room with the dark orb.

Root of Nightmares Secret Nodes/Orbs Room Locations

The Root of Nightmares raid contains total three secret node rooms. You must connect the nodes in the secret rooms according to the order you got from the initial set. These rooms can be found throughout the raid, all the way before the final room.

Please Note: To ensure you can spawn the chest at the end of the Root of Nightmares raid, it’s crucial to avoid connecting any Light Nodes if your first room node is Dark. If you do connect a Wrong Node, a message will appear saying “Your spoils have suffered irreparable damage,” and you won’t be able to proceed. Be careful when connecting the nodes in the three secret rooms and make sure to follow the correct order based on your first room node’s color to avoid this issue.

First Secret Room

To find the first hidden room, players should avoid going up the stairs in the initial room leading to first encounter and instead continue to the right side of the room. Behind some vines, they will find a staircase leading down to the first room. Once inside, players can locate the dark and light orbs they need to connect to progress further.

Second Secret Room

During the jump puzzle after the second encounter, players will reach a middle segment where they launch onto a platform. Typically, they would go right towards the square staircase structure where the second secret chest is located. However, to find the second set of nodes, players should go left to a broken piece of the ship. This can be a bit tricky, as it is not the obvious route, but it is essential for spawning the additional chest after the Nezarec encounter.

Third Secret Room

Before the final boss encounter, players should look for the final shiny root. From there, they should look off to the bottom right to find a relic thing. By jumping on it and looking up, they can see the entrance to the third secret room.

If players successfully connect the correct orbs in all three secret rooms, the game feed will display the message “A great harvest awaits.”

After defeating Nezarec, players can then access an extra chest that rewards a guaranteed red border weapon once per week. This chest is highly sought after by players looking to farm weapon patterns.
