How to open the Vikendi’s Tythonic Industries Secret door

The PUBG Secret rooms allow teams to gather incredibly powerful loot and equipment without having to scavenge in crowded places or loot it from others. Vikendi is a new (‘Reborn”) PUBG map that uses the secret rooms mechanic, similar to Taego and Paramo. While getting inside these areas isn’t challenging, so keep reading for a complete list of all the PUBG Vikendi’s secret room locations and much more.

PUBG Vikendi Secret Rooms: All Lab Camps Locations

Here are all the secret room locations with Research camps, more on that later. All credits to our fellow redditor u/SnakeDrone for locating all the secret rooms and Research Outposts.

According to u/SankeDrone, there are 10 PUBG Vikendi secret rooms to find highlighted in red and 4 Research Outposts marked in blue, and they can be found all throughout the map, scattering the various corners and to the middle. They look like Labs and have all the similar layout, but the out of place Lab will let you know that is the place you’re looking for.

In PUBG, there are two steps to entering the Vikendi Secret Room. First, you must locate the keycard, and then you must seek for the room itself. It can be more difficult to execute all of this than it is to simply break into a bunker in a certain spot. This is how you can do each section:

Finding the PUBG Vikendi Secret Room Keycards

Vikendi Secret Room keycards do not appear in any specific locations. Instead, you must simply keep your eyes peeled when looting. A secret room keycard can appear at any time, so keep an eye out for one. Make sure you’re moving around alot. The keycards themselves may be scarce but committed players should have no trouble finding one.

Locating the Tythonic Industries Secret Room and Accessing it

Once you get a secret room keycard, you can enter one by simply walking to one of the locations. There are a lot of these scattered over the map. This above map shows where all of the Vikendi secret rooms in PUBG are located.

The Room also tells you the locations of nearby enemies on one of the small displays, so you can be ready for an ambush while looting the high tier loot, at any given time! It quite looks like this:

Update: The Keycards drops have been removed due to some bugs as stated in Patch Notes of the PUBG Update 21.1. The note says it’s only for the Taego and Paramo maps, but seeing the same system in place for Vikendi, it’s reasonable to think it affected this map as well. So, we will have to wait for the Devs to fix this issue in Update 21.2 so we can get back to looting that high tier loot.

Update 2: The keycard known as “Security Key” is now added to the Vikendi Map as of the Update 21.2 which released on 11th January.

After dumping Vikendi into the map vault earlier this summer, the PUBG team renovated the map it and gave it a facelift calling it Vikendi Reborn. The devs teased the return of the snowy map in Vikendi Reborn earlier this month. A brief teaser film revealed the new Danger Zone on the map. The typical bombs have been replaced by an icy tornado.

Vikendi returns in the guise of the Vikendi Reborn map in PUBG Update 21.1. Vikendi Reborn now includes an 8x8km map, new Cable Cars for mobility, new Lab Camps for higher Inventory Drops (the focus of this article), and more. It launched on December 6 for PC and will launch on December 15 for consoles, PUBG Update 21.1 will be released alongside Vikendi Reborn.
