Fortnite just revealed it’s Anime Collaboration with My Hero Academia

Here is all Epic Games has in store for My Hero Academia and Fortnite Collaboration

The long-awaited collaboration between Fortnite and My Hero Academia is finally here. Following the release of Fortnite Chapter 4, Epic Games unveiled its latest anime crossover, which grabbed the interest of fans. This Japanese heroic comic has become a worldwide hit. It has inspired a TV anime, movies, games, and now a collaboration between Fortnite and My Hero Academia.

The collaboration will include four characters from the anime — Izuku Midoriya, Ochako Uraraka, Katsuki Bakugo and All Might — available for purchase in the item shop, as well as a Hero Training Gym to play around on in creative mode and tasks to complete to acquire stuff like a cape and MHA emotes. Perhaps most noticeably, the show’s Deku smash move will be available as a power-up in the game. The collaboration is now live in-game as of this morning at 7 a.m. ET.

With the release of Chapter 4 at the start of December, Fortnite also recently began its most recent major transition. The upgrade added a new island, more gameplay options, and a significant visual revamp thanks to Unreal Engine 5.1.

The item shop has been completely taken over by the Fortnite x My Hero Academia crossover. Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, All Might and Ochako Uraraka are only a few of the four characters from the anime whose cosmetic items are available for purchase by players.

In Fortnite, this marks the second most significant anime crossover after a massive Dragon Ball event in August. Meanwhile, the game’s developer, Epic Games, has been expanding its own cast of anime-style and movie style characters, many of whom can be seen in the game’s seasonal battle pass.

Last Month, Fortnite concluded its Chapter 3 with a major in-game event titled “Fracture” which jump started the Chapter 4 with major overhauls and upgrades.
