The Netflix’s Movie Plot focuses around a true incident

The storyline of Enola Holmes 2 is based on a true story that occurred in London in 1888. The walkout was known as the matchgirls’ strike, and it featured employees of the Bryant & May match factory, where their lives were endangered due to the use of white phosphorus.

Enola begins her first case as a professional detective in Enola Holmes 2 after starting an agency. But she rapidly realizes that life as a female private investigator is full of challenges. A matchstick girl approaches Enola just as she is about to shut down her agency. The poor little girl asks Enola to find her missing sister.

Nancy Springer created the fictional character, Enola Holmes. She is a teenage detective who is the only sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes, Enola Holmes 2, the sequel to the wildly successful Enola Holmes (2020), will be released on Netflix on November 4, 2022.
