As Criterion And Electronic Arts Combine Forces, Need For Speed May Arrive In 2022

Irrational Games’ president Ken Levine, meanwhile, said that the new game will not be set in Los Angeles because “Miami’s a much cooler city.” He also stated that the next game may include tracks and maps of Miami.
It’s possible that Need for Speed is a next-generation-exclusive game.

Given Grubb’s statement that the new NFS may be next-generation consoles only, there is no way to know if or when a PC version will be released.
