Almost four months into the year, a new update has been released regarding its development. Sony revealed that God of War: Ragnarök will be released sometime in 2022.
The game was slated to release in 2021 before being delayed at one of PlayStation’s Showcase events last year.

This confirmation has fueled further speculation that a PlayStation database leak, which stated that the launch date is September 30, 2022, might be true. This date may have been a placeholder, but it still gives us an idea of when Sony wants to release the game.
Sony is expected to reveal its PS5 Spartacus subscription service in the next day or two, and there’s a possibility we’ll hear more about God of War: Ragnarök during the event.
The developer has stated that it intends to bring Kratos to the big screen by collaborating with Amazon on a God of War TV series, which is also good news for God of War fans.
