Xbox Game Pass Loses 5 Games Today

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service is constantly updated, but games are sometimes removed from the lineup. While there are a few exceptional cases, Microsoft typically removes games from Xbox Game Pass twice a month, once in mid-July and again at the end of the month. Today is the last day that subscribers can enjoy certain titles on Xbox Game Pass.

Unfortunately, some high-quality games will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on Tuesday. The good news is that while they are still accessible on the service, Xbox Game Pass games may be purchased at a 20% discount. So anybody who wants to keep these titles may do so for a lower price than they will have afterward. Those who aren’t sure if they want to keep these games can always play them while they’re still accessible, but today is the last day to do so.

After today, subscribers to Xbox Game Pass will no longer be able to access Atomicrops, Carrion, Children of Morta, Cris Tales, and Lethal League Blaze. Out of these titles, the two with the highest review scores are Carrion and Children of Morta, so Xbox Game Pass members interested in them should prioritize those over the others.

Here are the 5 Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass Today

  • Atomicrops
  • Carrion
  • Children of Morta
  • Cris Tales
  • Lethal League Blaze

Carrion - Xbox Game Pass Loses 5 Games Today

The creators of Carrion, for those who are unfamiliar with the term, have referred to it as a “reverse-horror game.” In Carrion, you play the monster, murdering defenseless humans and progressing through a facility that’s set up like a Metroidvania game. Carrion received mostly favorable reviews when it came out, with many horror fans amused by its unusual concept.

Children of Morta - Xbox Game Pass Loses 5 Games Today

Children of Morta, on the other hand, is an action-RPG roguelike co-op game in which players take control of representatives from the Bergson family. Children of Morta was well-received at its release, with many acclaiming the co-operative elements and difficult action.

While it’s disappointing to see the five games depart, it’s worth noting that Xbox Game Pass just received a slew of new content. Recently, Xbox Game Pass has added five more titles to its lineup, including day-one releases such as Escape Academy and PowerWash Simulator. So while some gamers may be disappointed that these fives games will no longer be accessible through Xbox Game Pass, at least they’ll have lots to enjoy throughout the subscription service.
