Day one Xbox Game Pass game arrivals for May and July 2022 were confirmed by the release date announcements
Every two weeks or so, Microsoft likes to highlight the new games available through its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, but release date news may often provide subscribers with a heads-up on when certain day one releases are due. Another day one Xbox Game Pass game for May 2022 was announced in recent days, as well as one of the month’s anticipated day one titles.
On May 24, it was announced that Floppy Knights will be available as a day one Xbox Game Pass game. Floppy Knights is characterized by a bright artwork style and tactical gameplay. Turn-based combat and card game features are included, suggesting that it will please both strategy and deck-building fans. Anyone curious may play the game through Xbox Game Pass without having to pay full price; fortunately, this is possible even if you’ve never played before.
Meanwhile, as one of the day one games for July 2022, a completely different sort of game has been introduced. Matchpoint: Tennis Championships will debut on July 7th as a day one Xbox Game Pass game, it will be the first tennis game on the market. There aren’t many tennis games on the market right now, so when Matchpoint: Tennis Championships launches later this summer, enthusiasts of the sport will have something to anticipate.

As of yet, Microsoft has not formally announced any of May 2022’s Xbox Game Pass batches, but we’ve already got a fantastic list to anticipate! On Tuesday next week, we anticipate more games to be added to the collection.
Aside from Floppy Knights, seven additional titles have been confirmed for Game Pass next month. On May 3, Loot River will be available, followed by Citizen Sleeper on May 5 and Trek to Yomi on May 5. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will be available on May 10, Hardspace Shipbreaker on May 24, Sniper Elite 5 on May 26, and Pac-Man Museum+ on May 27 are the other Games Pass offerings planned for next month. The games span a variety of genres and there’ll be something for everyone.
