CD Projekt Red has also confirmed that the next-gen update will include all previously released DLC as well as new content focused on the Netflix series The Witcher, such as new weapons and gear as well as “alternative looks” for some chosen characters.
This particular patch appeared to have a particularly difficult development, especially while struggling to fix Cyberpunk 2077’s issues. The update was supposed to be released on 2020 but was delayed twice, players anticipated the worst when CD Projekt Red decided to delay the patch’s release until Q2, forcing CD Projekt to come out last April and assert that it was not in “development hell” after being postponed “until further notice.”
