Overwatch 2 new scary hero is Ramattra, a shapeshifter and leader of Null Sector
Blizzard has released the newest Overwatch 2 character. Ramattra is the game’s 36th hero, and his powers and backstory appear to be the most fascinating addition to the lineup to date, Ramattra will be available to play on December 6th, 2022.
Ramattra, as hinted in the lore, is the leader of the group Null Sector. Ramattra, like Zenyatta, is a Shambli monk who no longer considers the option of peacefully endorsing for Omnic rights and has adopted a more “pragmatic angle,” as per the Overwatch blog that announced his introduction.
The leader of Null Sector is on a mission to create a better world for Omnics… no matter the cost.

While no gameplay of Ramattra was featured in the origin trailer, Blizzard did mention what fans may expect from the character’s skills.
Ramattra is a tank unlike any you’ve ever seen. He has two forms: Omnic, which is defensive, and Nemesis, which is offensive. Rather of being a tank that shields their squad, like Sigma, Reinhardt, or D.Va, Ramattra’s capacity to transform into an Omnic or Nemesis form gives him aggressive powers that let him to strike foes at range as well as burst into a team’s back line to wreak havoc on lesser health targets.
“I don’t think we can overestimate how scary Ramattra gets when he goes into nemesis form,” “You will see him change.” lead narrative designer Gavin Jurgens-Fyhrie told The Verge.
Ramattra, alongside Sojourn, Kiriko, and Junker Queen, will be the fourth new hero added since the release of Overwatch 2. As per Blizzard, the team intends to release a new map or hero every season.
Overwatch 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Switch, completely replacing the original Overwatch.
