How To Play CoD MW 2 Beta on Xbox, PC, PS4, PS5?

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 beta is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC, although it is only available for PlayStation players as the open CoD MW2 beta for Microsoft gamers does not begin until a few more days.

Although many people seemed to appreciate Activision’s upcoming game, the reaction from the first weekend on PlayStation was mixed. The game looks amazing, but there have been some concerns about adjustments, and fans have shared their thoughts on Reddit regarding the Dead Silence perk and mini map.

Pre-ordered Xbox and PC gamers can begin playing the game immediately, while everyone else will have to wait a little longer.

Is The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Beta Available for Free?

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 beta is free for all PS4 and PS5 gamers on September 22nd, however it is only eligible to Xbox and PC users who already have pre-ordered the game.

This is due to the fact that the open demo for all Microsoft fans and PC users does not begin until September 24th. Today, the only way to access the game on Xbox and PC is to pre-order any edition, whether Cross-Gen or Vault.

If you don’t like the playtest, you can actually cancel your pre-order, but it might be preferable to just wait a few days to play for free if you’re not totally sold on this year’s Call of Duty. Although, if you sit tight until September 24th, you will only be given two days to experience the multiplayer before the playtests end on September 26th.

Users of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 can download and play the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 open beta right now, but Xbox and PC users must pre-order the full game to participate in the demo on September 22nd.
