Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 adds in Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia Skin
Geralt of Rivia is a character from the popular Witcher series and is now a part of the Fortnite Chapter 4. To unlock the Geralt skin, players need to have the battle pass and complete certain quests. The skin is available for free, so players don’t need to spend V-Bucks to acquire it. This collaboration between The Witcher and Fortnite is a way for players to experience new and exciting crossovers in the game.
Here’s how to unlock Witcher’s Geralt Skin in Fortnite
To get your hands on the Geralt skin in Fortnite, you must start by accessing your quest log and checking for new challenges. As of Tuesday, February 7th at 9 AM Eastern Time, the required challenges have been activated, and you have a limited amount of time to complete them.
Obtaining the Geralt skin is different from other bonus skins in the past, as it can only be unlocked by purchasing the Battle Pass and completing specific challenges. In addition to the skin, completing the challenges will also reward you with other Witcher-themed items such as an emote.
To unlock Geralt of Rivia, open your quest log and you will be able to see a couple of new quests there. These challenges include things like participating in five matches with active augments, defeating a boss, and dealing 500 damage with a melee weapon, Emoting in the Citadel throne room. Once you complete all five challenges, the skin will be yours to use. Epic Games will release more challenges in 20 days and will grant more cosmetic items. Furthermore, Geralt of Rivia will most likely get a new style once these quests come out.
The initial set of Geralt’s battle pass challenges can be finished right now, with the second set becoming accessible on February 28th after a wait of three weeks. If donning Geralt’s look in the game isn’t a top priority, cosmetic items such as a Witcher’s Silver Sword pickaxe and a Witcher-inspired lobby track can be obtained via the School of Llama from now until March 11, 2023.
Fortnite has recently been incorporating an abundance of new crossovers into the game. The recent crossover with Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia was added just last week, followed by the addition of a map based on the Junji Ito Maniac in Fortnite Creative. There has also been speculation of a first-person mode coming to the battle royale game after dataminers found indications that it’s in development.
