Fake “Schedule 1” Mobile Game Climbs App Store Charts
A counterfeit mobile version of the hit Steam game Schedule 1 has surged to the top of app store rankings in several countries. Despite the original PC game’s massive success—boasting hundreds of thousands of concurrent players—developer Tyler (TVGS) has not announced an official mobile port.
Currently, Schedule 1 is only available on Steam, with Steam Deck support in development. However, unauthorized versions have already surfaced, including a fake listing on the PlayStation Store earlier this month. Now, a mobile app titled “Schedule 1 Drug Dealer” has topped the U.S. App Store’s Entertainment category, priced at $4.99.
The app mimics Schedule 1‘s branding, using the same key art and logo, but appears to be an unlicensed demo rather than the full game. User reviews warn that progress is blocked early on, with some calling it a “scam.”
This follows other challenges for TVGS, including a copyright dispute with Drug Dealer Simulator publisher Movie Games S.A., which alleges Schedule 1 borrows elements from their game. Additionally, popular Schedule 1 mods like Just Enough Drugs and Better Casino have been flagged for malware, raising security concerns for players.
For now, fans should be cautious—official Schedule 1 releases are only available on Steam.
