We’re just a day from the servers shutting down and getting back to reveal Destiny 2’s Season 19, with still no official information about the season. But Bungie does plan to release a trailer two hours just before event begins.

Season 19 of Destiny 2 is the final season before Bungie launches Lightfall, the next major expansion. Therefore, when Destiny 2 Season launches on December 6th, we can expect to see a lot of significant changes made to the game.

A lot of fans have been speculating that Rasputin would be the main focus of this season, and the static picture appears to support their predictions. The Season 19 trailer for Destiny 2 is attached below.

The community has strongly criticized Bungie for keeping information about the forthcoming Destiny 2 season secret. Not everyone likes Bungie’s method of keeping information about a new season under wraps until its release. The community believes that leaving fans in the dark is absurd given how monotonous each season has been while using similar models.

Many Twitter users made fun of Bungie for promoting a new season without really revealing anything when the company posted a link to the video. While some fans enjoy being taken by surprise, it’s evident that others are not pleased of this approach. Hopefully today’s reveal will make those same folks more pleased.

Destiny 2 Season 19 Release Date

Destiny 2 Season 19 will release on December 6, 2022. This date is based on the conclusion of the Destiny 2 Season 18 Season Pass, which nearly always signals the beginning of the next season as well as its Season Pass. The actual Season 19 will most likely last from December 6 to February 28, 2023, the release date of the Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion.

Destiny 2 and Assassin’s Creed Crossover
