Destiny 2 Season 19 is the final season before Bungie releases Lightfall, the next major expansion. As a result, when Destiny 2 Season releases on December 6th, we should expect big changes to the game. Many fans predicted that Rasputin would be the season’s main focus.

Destiny 2 Season 19 will release on December 6, 2022. This date is based on the conclusion of the Destiny 2 Season 18 Season Pass, which nearly always signals the beginning of the next season as well as its Season Pass. The actual Season 19 will most likely last from December 6 to February 28, 2023, the release date of the Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion.

Additional Leaks for Destiny 2 Season 19: Story, Title, Dungeon, and Changes

Disclaimer: This information is based on Destiny 2 rumors and leaks, and the final result may differ. Take everything discussed in this article with a pinch of salt. Everything that follows should be considered huge spoilers for Season 19.

Destiny 2 Season 19 Story and Seasonal Title

Rasputin appears to be the main focus of Season 19, as previously stated by many leakers and Bungie. The season will be called “Season of Seraph,” and Xivu Arath and her Hives will serve as the main antagonists alongside Vex, but that has not been confirmed, and we must take that information with a pinch of salt.

Furthermore, with Rasputin as the focus of the season, they said that it would be about creating an Exo suit for them to wear, providing them an opportunity to become a more important character moving forward. Again, we can’t verify this, but Bungie’s lack of promotion hasn’t helped.

Destiny 2 Season 19 New Dungeon

Players may expect that the Season 19 Dungeon will be set in Volatis and that the final boss will be modeled like Panoptes or Quria. As a result, it is safe to presume that the Dungeon will have a Vex theme and that the RNG Exotic drop will be a Solar Auto Rifle.

Dungeon Armor Pieces

The SUROS faction will be represented by the dungeon armor pieces, and depending on the activities, unlocking chests or completing missions might result in the drop of a Ship and a Sparrow.

Dungeon Weapons Drop Pool

Hand Cannons, Auto Rifles, Trace Rifles, Shotguns, Heavy Grenade Launchers, and Swords will all be included in the weapon pools.

Destiny 2 Season 19 Major Changes

  • Crucible is getting an overhaul in Season 19
Bungie detailed the improvements coming to the Crucible in season 19, which will mostly focus on simplifying the playlist structure and funneling more players into its less-frequently played game modes.
In Season 19, Glory is being removed with the addition of a 3v3 Ranked playlist, Competitive Division, which is a true ladder-based system, according to Bungie.
  • New Iron Banner Set and Mode

Fortress, a mode based on taking and controlling territory that sounds similar to Zone Control, will be released on January 3, 2023, along with several new Iron Banner armor sets that were popular favorites during the Taken King’s reign.

  • Craftable Deep Stone Crypt Raid Weapons
The Deep Stone Crypt raid, like Vow of the Disciple and King’s Fall, is getting craftable weapons. All weapons will gain the Bray Inheritance origin trait as well. Because Deep Stone Crypt lacks a deepsight weapon chest, you’ll have to purchase a weekly red border from the final encounter chest to unlock them.

Players have had heated debates concerning Bungie’s approach to the introduction of a new season in the run-up to Season 19. This latest one is a strong example of how players have little to no clue what to expect, and it appears that everything will be released hours before the servers in Destiny 2 reopen so gamers can play it themselves. It’s a weird marketing strategy, since many players would appreciate a little teaser or info before this happens.

The Destiny 2 is on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox one, and PC. All of our recent posts of the game are available right here.
