Aubameyang scores twice as Barcelona beats Real Madrid 4-0
Barca went to Real Madrid and utterly decimated and humiliated their rivals with a jaw-dropping 4-0 victory in El Clasico on Sunday, simultaneously restoring their reputation. The team appears to have reached its season peak in performance under manager Xavi, with the club’s unbeaten streak now standing at 12 games.
Nobody saw it coming, not even Barcelona. The hosts were silenced and stunned in the second half as Barca hit twice in both halves and had a 4-0 lead before the hour mark. In a match that saw three different players score, The Barca’s victory was sealed by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s, as well as Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres’ goals.
Real Madrid were without answers without Karim Benzema because to a problem with his ankle, failing to score on the few offensive chances they had as Barca’s quick and efficient passing stifled them.

The victory follows Barca’s success at Galatasaray on Thursday, which secured the team’s passage to the quarterfinals of the Europa League.

It might not be the Messi era, but it could be just as good. That doesn’t mean that everything is rosy. The midfield still feels like it’s missing someone, and the defense could use some help. But, overall, the future looks bright for Barcelona.

The addition of Aubameyang has been a huge boost, and with so much young talent on the team, there is no telling how far they can go. Barcelona are definitely a force to be reckoned with and their fans should be very excited for what is to come.
